TRANSPORT, INC. (PTCAT), is a shipping/husbanding agency and a
freight forwarding company.
PTCAT, a
subsidiary of PHILIPPINE TRANSMARINE CARRIERS, INC. (PTC), was
established in March 14, 1991 as an independent company
responsible for the continued development of cargo transport
and its allied services such as: general shipping and port
agency, freight forwarding, cargo consolidation, brokerage,
NVOCC, breakbulk agent, warehousing, trucking, vessel
chartering, and ship brokering.
With the
establishment of PTCAT, the PTC Group of Companies is able to
offer its Principals complete solutions in all aspects of
shipping and allied services.
Through the
years, PTCAT has developed vast experience in cargo and vessel
handling, In the ‘80’s, PTCAT handled the general shipping and
port agency for all GEARBULK vessels for the movement of
lumber and wood products on a liner basis.
As an agent for
HOEGH AUTOLINERS, NORWAY A/S, PTCAT serves Philippine
importers of rolling stock and machineries from the U.S. East
Coast, North Europe, Mediterranean, Red Sea Ports, Arabian
Gulf, and the Far East.
PTCAT is the
Philippine agent of SAGA FOREST CARRIERS of Norway and Tokyo,
for the break bulk export of steel products destined for the
U.S. West Coast and Canada.
As a freight
forwarder, PTCAT utilizes its vast network of agencies to
provide better rates for its Principals’ shipping needs all
over the world.
